The 2024 M&D Black girls lacrosse club team is currently ranked #1 in their class with a record of 9-1 from Columbia, Maryland. They have girls from Colorado, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Carolina on their team. They are coached by John Brown, the current assistant coach at Maryvale High School who has coached on staff for four MPSSAA State Championships since 2014.

“Preparing to play well against the top teams in the country as our girls enter the final stretch before they can be recruited. We have a very talented group and they do a great job of sharing the ball and not just playing for themselves,” Brown said.

The team will be competing at the Live Love Lax Tournament, Summer Genesis Tournament, Lax for the Cure Tournament, Top Threat Championship, and the Mid-Atlantic Summer Club Championships Tournament.

They have pushed each other to win three straight NGLL Championships and three straight Lax for the Cure Championships.
