Lacrosse World Series Championship – Day 1 Recap
Day 1 of the Lacrosse World Series Championship in Downingtown, PA brought high-level
competition, standout talent, and intense matchups across all four pools. With 24 of the top 2030 teams in the country competing for the title, six teams emerged undefeated, showing early signsof championship potential. From dominant shutouts to hard-fought battles, each win today laid the foundation for what’s shaping up to be a thrilling weekend of lacrosse. Here’s a breakdown of today’s top performers:

Pool 1:
Eclipse Navy (3–0)
Eclipse Navy (#9) came out red-hot, going 3–0 with convincing wins over every opponent. They
opened with a 7–3 win over Shore 2 Shore (#14), setting the tone with strong defense andtransition offense. In Game 2, they dismantled True Upstate 2030 (#12) 11–4, showcasing depth
and ball movement. They capped off the day with a 10–3 win against Synergy (#17). Eclipse Navy ended the day with a +18 goal differential, proving they’re one of the most complete teams
in the field.

Pool 2:
Team 91 LI Cyclones (2–0)
Team 91 LI 2030 Cyclones (#6) wasted no time asserting themselves as a force. They defeated Utah Prime (#19) 9–3 in the opener, then exploded for a 14–1 rout over Team Israel (#24).
Their offense was dynamic and their ride relentless. With 23 goals scored and just 4 allowed, this squad looks locked in and primed for a deep run.
Duke’s Elite AA Iverson (2–0)
Duke’s Elite 2030 AA Iverson (#2) showed maturity and control across both games. They held off Harvest (#11) 8–5 in a tight matchup before outlasting Igloo Black Ice 2.0 (#8) 9–5. With smart play, consistent clears, and standout goalie work, Duke’s Elite looked calm under pressure and finished the day with a +7 differential.

Pool 3:
BBL Shore LWSC (3–0)
BBL Shore 2030 LWSC (#7) delivered one of the most dominant team performances of the day.
They shut out Philadelphia Freedom (#16) 6–0 to start, then dropped 13 goals on CarolinaGold (#22), followed by an 11–3 win over Predators 2030 (#18). With a 30–7 overall scoreline, BBL played fast, physical, and precise—showcasing one of the deepest rosters in the
tournament.
True IL 2030 (2–0)
True IL 2030 (#15) battled through two gritty contests. They edged out Carolina Gold (#22) 7–6 in a thriller, then followed up with a controlled 10–6 victory against Predators 2030 (#18).
Their ability to close out close games, combined with composed passing and strong midfield play, gives them a lot of upside heading into Day 2.

Pool 4:
2Way World Series (2–0)
2Way World Series (#5) might have had the most complete Day 1 performance of any team.
They opened with a 12–2 dismantling of 3D GA (#10) and followed it up with a shutout, 12–0 win over Express North (#13). Their defense was nearly impenetrable, and their offense flowed with chemistry and confidence. With a staggering +22 goal differential, they’re sending a clear message to the rest of the bracket.

With two more days of competition remaining, there’s still plenty of lacrosse left to play. Teams will need to stay sharp and consistent, as every goal and ground ball could be the difference between advancing and elimination.
