Emma is an electrifying player on both sides of the ball. Her speed enables her to gain ground quickly in her 1 v 1’s, come away with crucial ground balls, and make the hustle plays with caused turnovers. On the defensive end she will continue to be disciplined in keeping good body positioning and not overplaying towards one side, which would allow her opponent to turn the corner. Although, her speed helps in the recovery she needs to stay in her low defensive stance and anticipate which side to force down and away from goal. She will strive to incorporate more shot fakes on cage. Her shot placement is good and as she continues to grow in her development, being able to change up her levels in her shooting will be excellent. Emma’s versatility in the offensive end by finishing on cage with either hand, accelerating out of her dodges, and keeping her head on a swivel for her teammates makes her a triple threat whether she is shooting, dodging, or feeding. Her sharp ability on the draw circle is key to her team’s success as she tracks the ball well and recognizes when to push a fast break and when to move the ball quickly for the next opportunity. She handles pressure well and has effective stick protection.
