Uma is a true two-way midfielder that has a strong presence on both sides of the ball. She is fearless through physicality with her power and strength. Her defensive play is textbook both on ball and help off-ball. She anticipates the ball exceptionally with her interceptions and clean checks winning the ground ball on the defensive end forcing caused turnovers. Offensively, she is assertive on the draw circle whether she is winning the ball to herself or communicating with her teammates on the 50/50 ground balls when she runs through and secures possession. Her confidence is unyielding with her strong shots on goal, cutting off-ball to create movement and the vision to find one of her open teammates. Uma has great shot placement and will continue to develop her game by utilizing her non-dominant hand (left) even more as she progresses.
