Mckenzie is a powerhouse. Her ability to anticipate where the ball is going and applying high pressured defense creates numerous caused turnovers. She capitalizes on 50/50 balls and comes up with the ground ball and utilizing her speed she pushes the fast break into her offensive end. She is not afraid of physicality and is driven to go to goal where she can convert and thread the needle for a feed to one of her teammates. Mckenzie will continue to improve upon her game by developing her skills even more in her non-dominant hand (left) to ensure she is a well-rounded player. She will also maintain her stellar speed into space out of pressure prior to letting up and passing the ball off, especially while transitioning through the midfield. Her quick footwork allows her to stay locked in on defense even against the shiftiest matchups. Skillfully handles pressure and secures possession off the draw circle to give her team their best scoring opportunity.
