Allyson is a standout goalie. She tracks the ball extremely well and is very active between the pipes. Her explosive movement from her low stance into reaching for high shots is exceptional. Her ability to get low quickly with her stick and excellent body positioning behind the ball is unmatched. She is not afraid to come out of the crease on clears and 50/50 ground balls where she can handle the pressure. She will continue to work on taking her time in the clears and utilizing going behind the cage more to avoid attackers forcing her towards the sideline and out of position. She is patient in goal and doesn’t bite on much in terms of shot fakes, so moving her is quite the challenge for her opponents. Her ability to read the offense well of where the ball is going and picking off passes is superb.
