Ruby is a standout goalie. She utilizes her height to her advantage and times the offenses pass and pick them off with superb interceptions. She is fearless when out of the cage and loves to play on 50/50 ground balls to secure her team possession. Her ability to handle pressure outside the goal when attackers are marking her allows her to remain calm and still get a good clear. She will continue to work on cushioning the ball, on giving with it and quickly snagging the ball before it pops out of her reach. Her low athletic stance baits attackers to try to shoot high and then she demonstrates her explosive vertical movement showcasing her talent. She has accurate far clears and moves well on her arch while tracking ball around the 12-meter.
