Isabella is a terrific defender. She reads the offense well and comes away with interceptions because she times her jump passes on the ball before her opponent can even react. Her ability to utilize her non-dominant hand is superb. She has great shot placement on cage when she is on a middie run as well as good speed in transition. Isabella will continue to improve upon her footwork to keep up with shifty players and in her dodging abilities so that she can evade pressure and get her hands free sooner. She is strong off the draw circle coming up with multiple 50/50 ground balls and one-handed snags. Her defensive communication with her teammates while staying in a double team with good positioning to create key turnovers is exceptional.
