Ava is one of the most athletic defenders in the 2026 class. She can match speed and then some with opposing attackers and she can cause a turnover, pick up the ground ball, and blow by everyone in the clear before her opponent even realizes they no longer have the ball in their stick. I would love to see her work on her fundamentals of forcing an attacker one way and keeping them there, along with her offensive skills because she could very well see herself transitioning the ball all the way down to the opponent’s net.
