Molly is an outstanding defender. Her excellent footwork allows her to match shifty players and be the first one to any 50/50 ground balls. She is very active in her sound 1v1 defense, as she is in full control and directs her opponent where she wants them to go. She communicates well and being adjacent to ball, she is quick to slide and recover back into position. Her ability to anticipate where the ball is going enables apply high pressure and jump a pass creating crucial turnovers. She will continue to work on improving her stick skills with her non-dominant hand to ensure the ball is in her outside hand away from pressure when clearing the ball in transition. Molly hustles for everything from slowing a fast break to clearing the ball over into her team’s offensive end. She makes an impact all over the field.
