Sean is a tall rangy defenseman who uses his length to keep his man at a distance and throw effective checks. He’s not overly slap-happy, instead timing his checks to have the greatest chance for a takeaway. He keeps his feet underneath him too, always staying in good position to defend. He just needs to keep improving and add some muscle to his frame to be an even more effective defenseman.
