Ethan is a very fundamentally sound defenseman who has great speed in transition. He is not overly slap happy, but plays good positioning and lets his checks come naturally. His stick skills let him be a big threat in transition, although I don’t think he’d be a true LSM at the next level. I’d like to see him be a little more physical and get into the body of his man a little bit more.
