Carson is another tall rangy defenseman who throws great takeaway checks and is a hawk on ball. He’s got a great can opener and is rangy enough to go over the head successfully. He has the stick to run in transition, and might project as more of an LSM at the next level. He needs to continue to work on his fundamental defense, but Carson is a very dangerous pole.
