Jack is a big physical defenseman who is not afraid to throw his body around. He’s a rare young defenseman in that he is incredibly fundamentally sound instead of relying on big takeaway checks to cause turnovers. He plays well as part of the defense as well as being very reliable on ball. He will be a shutdown defender for years to come, I love his fundamentals but he will eventually have to add some takeaway checks to his arsenal to be even more intimidating.
