Tucker is a very solid defenseman who has great footwork and great hand eye coordination to knock down passes. He is good at anticipating passes and getting himself in the lanes, and plays good positional defense instead of relying on takeaway checks. He isn't afraid to challenge his man away from the goal, and has the athletic ability to do so.
