John is an athletic goalie who isn't afraid to come out of the cage to intercept passes. He has good technique, and doesn't flop to the ground as quickly as some others on low shots. This allows him to get his outlet passes out quicker, and he is always looking upfield first to try to start transition. He needs to dial in those outlet passes a little bit, but I like that his head is always up after a save
