Ian is a very technically sound goalie. He has a low stance which allows him to be quick to shots on the ground, but also has the athleticism to explode up to high shots. He doesn’t go to the ground unnecessarily, which allows him to always be looking up and over on his clears. He always seems very composed in the net, he just needs to keep improving to be a top tier goalie.
