Nevan is a tenacious on ball defender with a great stick, pressuring his man all over the field. He even takes faceoffs with a pole at times, adding to his versatility. He’s a threat in transition, running the field effortlessly. He does need to work on his positioning and footwork, his aggressive style sometimes gets him out of position and lets his man get top side or to the middle of the field.
