Reed is a big, strong defenseman with good footwork who is very patient with his checks. He relies on timing for his takeaways more than throwing an over abundance of checks. He’s athletic enough to run at LSM, and isn’t afraid to throw his body around when needed. Reed has the tools to be a very complete defenseman at the next level.
