Will is a solid athletic LSM who is good on the ground and can run in transition. He’s tenacious on ball and always keeps his stick moving, knocking down passes with regularity. Like many young poles, he relies too much on takeaway checks instead of footwork when playing defense. It may work for now, but higher level players will take advantage of that at the next level. Will has a good foundation, he just needs to focus on that one aspect of his game.
