Max is a very athletic goalie with quick hands who has good presence in the net. He’s very good at matching shot angles in tight, and his quick reflexes let him stuff shooters on the doorstep. He gives up a lot of rebounds, which he will have to clean up if he wants to be an elite goalie. I’d also like to see him look out and up more quickly on clears, starting transition by himself with crisp outlet passes.
