John is a big athletic LSM with a good stick and good ground ball skills. He can run in transition and isn’t afraid to take the ball to the cage himself if no one picks him up. John does tend to fall into the trap that most young LSMs do where he tries too hard to go for the takeaway checks instead of just moving his feet and running with his man. It may work for him now, but as the players he goes against improve, it’ll become less effective.
