Jacob is an athletic defender with a very active stick. He has good ground ball skills and good stick handling, and he isn’t afraid to be physical when needed. I think his athleticism projects him as more of an LSM than a close defender, and his skills in transition back that up. Jacob moves his feet well, but I’d like to see him focus more on preventing his man from getting to the middle of the field.
