Chase is a smaller goalie who doesn’t take up as much room in the net, but he makes up for it with incredibly quick hands. He throws good outlet passes, and his low stance allows him to bait shooters into trying to beat him high. This could potentially come back to bite him as the shooters improve, but for now it is a sneaky way to trick shooters into thinking they have an opening. I’d like to see him stay off the ground so much, it inhibits his ability to make quick clearing passes.
