Bear is a big and physical defenseman with a good stick who can run in transition. He’s good on the ground and makes good decisions with the ball in his stick. He is a an excellent 1v1 defender as he uses his elite footwork to his advantage. However at times he can get himself out of positio with his aggressiveness. I’d like to see him do a better job of breaking down on slides and using his body to keep his man away from high danger areas.
