Jack is a big and athletic defenseman who uses his body well and doesn’t get overly stick happy when he’s on ball. He has the stick skills to run in transition and is smart with the ball. Jack has good footwork and fundamentals, but he shadows and runs with his man as opposed to trying to dictate direction. I’d like to see him take the next step and start using his body positioning to force his man the way Jack wants him to go.
