Quinton is a strong and physical defenseman with good athleticism in transition. He’s got a good stick and is strong on the ground, making him dangerous. He starts off playing sound fundamental defense, but has a tendency to sell out for the takeaway check. It works for him, but may come back to bite him as the players he’s going against improve. If he can continue to improve on his footwork and sound defense, he is a serious prospect in this class.
