Jack is a fundamentally sound defenseman who is good on the ground and can run in transition. He uses his body well on ball and has good footwork, and he doesn’t rely solely on takeaway checks when playing defense. Jack has the stick skills to run the field in transition, but he usually passes it off right when he crosses midfield. I’d like to see him use his athleticism to push the defense into sliding to him, creating more opportunities on fast breaks.
