Lily is a terrific defender. She has solid 1v1 defense and anticipates the ball well with knockdowns and interceptions. Her defensive slides on team defense and quick reaction time on stick deflections of 8 meters is excellent. She has good speed and great field awareness in clearing the ball and sharp Lax IQ knowing when to redirect the ball. She will continue to work on her footwork to stay with the shiftiest players. Her hustle on 50/50 ground balls and ability to utilize both hands makes her a dual threat. Lily is confident and can handling pressure in the redefend as well as go to cage where there is an opportunity in transition, and she capitalizes with a goal.
