Emerson is an excellent midfielder. She drives hard to cage with an explosive first step. Her dodges are efficient and shot placement is good. Her efforts off the draw with quick reaction time and reading the field well in transition result in more scoring opportunities for her team. Emerson has great field vision, and her assists are on target. She applies good 1v1 defense while applying pressure and being ready to slide help on team defense. Her efforts in redefending create multiple caused turnovers with clean checks. She will continue to push herself with more creativity in her play and utilize her non-dominant hand more.
