Sophie is a reliable midfielder. She contributes all over the field with being active on the draw circle with one-handed snags and creating scoring opportunities on offense. She has good field vision scanning the field in transition for her open teammates giving accurate assists. Her hustle on 50/50 balls makes a big impact on her team’s success. Sophie drives hard to the cage and finishes with good shot placement. Defensively she will continue to work on highlighting more of 1v1’s, team defense and clearing the ball. Offensively she will improve on her change of speed with her cuts and taking more shooting opportunities with her non-dominant hand.
