Halle is a standout defender. She has excellent stick skills and ability to use both hands seamlessly with good ball control. Her anticipation of where the ball is going to be enables her to gain multiple interceptions for her team. She has solid 1v1 defense with a good athletic stance staying low and breaking down her steps on her approach to drive her opponent down and out of the 8. Halle demonstrates great field awareness and understanding on team defense of when to double ball and/or slide to ball. She hustles on 50/50 ground balls and handles pressure well. Her efforts at clearing the ball also don’t go unnoticed as she utilizes good field vision to move the ball up field. Halle will continue to improve upon her footwork to stay with the shiftiest players.
