Chiara is a standout midfielder and draw specialist. She does an excellent job at the draw and draw circle securing possession and pushing the fast break to covert with either a goal or an assist. Her ability to utilize both hands seamlessly with effective dodges makes it difficult to guard her. Chiara drives hard cage in her 1v1’s with excellent shot placement. She is very creative with her shot selections. Her well-timed cuts into the 8 with a quick shot release while under pressure is textbook. She has great anticipation of where the ball is going on the defensive end to gain interceptions on settled defense. Also, active in redefending with good defensive positioning and clean checks. Chiara will continue to fine tune her defensive footwork to stay matched with the shiftiest opponents.
