Emmy is a fantastic defender. Her excellent field awareness gains interceptions with her perceptive skill. She does a great job matching sticks in her 1v1’s to create caused turnovers with her knockdowns. Her solid 1v1 defense in applying pressure with quick footwork to keep readjusting is textbook. Her incredible speed and hustle on 50/50 ground balls are unmatched. Emmy is a team player and crashes and slides to ball with efficiency. She does a good job of balancing the field in transition to help move ball while utilizing both hands in clearing. She will continue to fine tune her defensive communication when applying high pressure to ensure her 1^st and 2^nd slides are aware in case of the risk of getting beat.
