Maddie is an excellent two-way midfielder and draw specialist. Her grit on the draw to secure her team possession utilizing her height as an advantage is key for her team’s success. She drives hard to cage in her 1v1 matchups with good shot placement. She keeps her head up while driving to cage to create a draw and dump. Her great field vision while on the run in transition to recognize an open teammate and give accurate assists is superb. She is a threat off-ball too, being able to find space and make more scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates with well-timed cuts inside the 8 and a quick finish on goal. She stays composed while under pressure and is dynamic with her shot selection from different areas on the field. Maddie has great anticipation of where the ball is going and gains multiple interceptions on settled defense. She applies good team defense by sliding to ball and applies pressure to drive her opponent out. Her field awareness in handling cutters while staying matched inside the 8 and picking up any 50/50 ground balls is           fantastic. She will continue to push her creativity and take more opportunities to shoot with her non-dominant.
