Maureen is a terrific defender. Her solid defensive stance in her 1v1 matchups staying low and driving her opponent out by applying pressure to create multiple caused turnovers is textbook. She has great field awareness and anticipation to understand where the ball is going on settled defense to pick off passes and earn her team interceptions. She demonstrates composure while under pressure clearing the ball with good stick handling and control. Her speed in clearing the ball to push a fast break for the offense with accurate feeds to her attack is superb. She does an excellent job in team defense with sliding to ball and crashing. Maureen will continue moving off-ball into space on the clears to create more opportunities for her teammates and keep fine tuning her stick skills.
