Mikala is a reliable goalie. She does an excellent job stepping to the ball in her approach. Her quick reaction time is key when tracking the ball and stopping low shots. She is patient with her clears to get quality passes out. Her ability to give long clears to jump start her offense is superb. Mikala is composed when coming out of cage being able to handle pressure with good speed, field vision and versatility with both hands. She has great field awareness in helping clear the ball as a trail to her low defenders if needed. Mikala will continue to read her opponents’ moves and intercepts feeds and 50/50 balls near her crease.
