Genesis is a reliable midfielder. She drives hard to cage and finishes the ball well. She moves well off-ball cutting into the 8 being versatile with either hand while handling pressure to get a quality shot off. Her quick first step off the draw circle to win 50/50 ground balls and push a fast break to jump start the offense is excellent. Genesis has great anticipation of where the ball is going and times her approach to earn interceptions on settled team defense. She applies good defensive pressure on the ball and playing the space to create knockdown passes and caused turnovers. She also displays good field awareness to recognize when to slide and crash on team defense. Genesis will continue to fine tune her stick skills and push her creativity on offense.
