Davis is an effective defenseman who does a good job of keeping himself under control. He doesn't throw a million checks, and has good footwork on ball. He's a smart defender off ball as well, knowing when to slide in order to create the most chaos. He's good on the ground as well, but I'd like to see him push the ball up field in transition more often. He has the athleticism to be a threat in the middle of the field, he just needs to be more comfortable with the ball in his stick.
