Hayden is a smaller but athletic goalie with great reaction time. He does a very good job of matching stick angle on shots in tight, and is very active in the clearing game. He is not afraid to come out of the cage, and is always looking up and over to start transition off a save. He doesn't have bad technique, but will want to tighten up his footwork and body positioning as he grows and the shooters get better.
