Frankie is a very athletic defenseman who does a great job of keeping his feet moving when he throws checks. He has good footwork in general, and doesn't rely solely on his stick when playing defense. His checks are accurate, and he doesn't need to throw a ton of them to take the ball away. He's also a threat in transition, and may project more as an LSM as he gets older. I'd like to see him be a bit more physical as he grows and gets stronger, he has the athleticism to press out more and be more aggressive on ball.
