Andrew is a very fundamentally sound defenseman, especially for a younger player. He uses his body well, and has good footwork on ball. He isn't overly aggressive with his stick checks, but knows when to throw them for the most effect. He has good stick skills but there is room for improvement, and I'd like to see him add some more takeaway checks to his arsenal since he already has good footwork.
