Aly is an excellent midfielder. She is gritty at the draw and off the circle coming up with key possessions for her team. Always has her head on a swivel looking for an open teammate whether in transition or on the offensive end looking to feed. She is versatile with both hands being a dual threat. Aly demonstrates a high Lacrosse IQ of being patient and not forcing a shot. She works for the best scoring opportunity, whether that is re-attacking cage or pulling out of her drive and feeding an off-ball cutter. Her well-placed shot on cage is due to her moving the goalie with good shot fakes. Aly shows great anticipation on defensive of when to hedge early and slide to a teammate who has gotten beaten in their 1v1. She pressures out on the ball carrier with good defensive positioning and footwork. She will continue to showcase more of her defensive highlights.
