Cara is a terrific midfielder. Her hustle at the draw to secure her team possession by coming away with 50/50 ground balls and redefending to create caused turnovers is superb. Offensively she drives hard to cage in her 1v1 matchups with effective dodges and her shots have power and accuracy. She works well in two-man games to draw the double team and give an accurate feed to her teammate cutting into space. Cara displays good field vision recognizing an open teammate whether in transition or giving accurate assists. Defensively she is dynamic with both hands so when clearing the ball she is a dual threat. Cara will continue to showcase more of her efforts in defending 1v1’s as well as highlighting team defense of slides, double teams, crashes, etc.
