Carson is able to win faceoffs in a variety of ways, and has strong counter moves when he doesn't win the initial clamp. He battles hard when it becomes a scrum, but is also skilled at getting the ball out quick to himself. He looks uncomfortable with the ball in his stick at times, and I'd like to see him work harder at pushing transition when he wins it forward to himself.
