Emery is an excellent attacker. She drives hard to cage with swift movement in her dodges with good shot placement. Her quick footwork and deceptive change of speed and direction in her 1v1 matchups are superb. She displays good field vision seeing her open teammates cutting inside the 8-meter with accurate feeds. She also stays composed in the double team keeping her head up looking for her open teammate. Emery cuts well off-ball into space getting her hands free for a quick shot release inside the 8-meter while handling defensive pressure crashing in. She is active in the redefend with good defensive positioning, clean checks and one-handed interceptions. Emery also contributes to the draw with one-handed snags, hustling to 50/50 ground balls and creating caused turnovers. She will continue to fine tune her dodging to become an even shiftier attacker.
