Karly is a skilled midfielder. She is gritty and hustles for every loose ball and comes up with the 50/50 ground balls. Defensively she applies good pressure outside the 12-meter and marks tightly on cutters inside the 8-meter. Her team defense in sliding to the ball early and crashing on time is textbook. Offensively she drives to cage with effective dodges and finishes the ball well with either hand. Her off-ball movement creates more scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates. Karly will continue to work on fine tuning her defensive footwork to stay matched against shifty players.
