Owen is a big and physical defenseman who doesn't mind throwing his body around. He's good at knowing when to slide for the most effect, and has the athleticism to run in transition. Owen is good on the ground, and has the stick skills to be an effective LSM. He needs to work on his footwork and keeping his man from getting to the middle of the field, getting beat and then throwing a takeaway check is not good defense.
