Richard is a reactive and athletic goalie who relies on that athleticism to make saves. He tends to guess a little bit, and then relies on that athleticism to bail him out. He throws very crisp outlet passes and is active outside of the cage on clears, and is always trying to push transition. He sinks really low in anticipation of shots, I'm not sure if that will continue to work for him as shooters improve.
