Marley is a standout defender. She has great footwork in her 1v1 matchups. Her quick reaction time on 50/50 ground balls to secure her team possession is key to her team’s success. Marley has good field awareness while off-ball closing the gap with her slides in team defense and effective checks creating multiple caused turnovers. She does an excellent job of keeping her stick up in the passing and shooting lanes always getting a piece of it. She will continue to move the ball efficiently up field when clearing with quicker ball movement.
